Best time to go: 

Going on Safari in Kenya is great throughout the year; however, the best months to view game are from July through to November as this is the time to witness the “big wildebeest migration” in Masai Mara National Reserve. Kenya goes through its rainy season in April / May as well as November, so expect some wet days (though keep in mind the African rainy season is nothing like the Asian monsoon!)

On this trekking journey, you will experience four days of pure adventure covering on foot approximately 37 miles / 60 km in total. Through your journey, you will get the experience, learn and see the way of the Masai people in a totally unique way as these original inhabitants of the area will act as your guides throughout, sharing with you their knowledge and stories of the areas you pass. You will experience breathtaking sceneries of endless savannas, bushes and forests, full of wildlife. Safari in the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, home of Africa’s “Big five” and “Great wildebeest migration” will be your final destination.

The journey comes will full vehicle support for your comfort and safety that will follow you in the distance. You will experience an array of accommodation styles, adding to the adventure – from a simple semi-permanent camp to basic mobile bush camps and finally a luxury tented camp to relax your body. Your support team will be busy behind the scene at all time, setting up your bush camps allowing you to put your feet up and take in the surreal and beautiful surroundings.

The only requirements for this journey would be a little spirit of adventure and anyone in an average physical walking condition should have no problem. Routs lead thru relatively flat ground.

This safari ends in Nairobi and you can easily combine it with our other safari destinations or extend it to the sandy beaches of Indian Ocean.
